 Youth Summer Opportunities

Future Champs Morning LessonsAges 4-5   This camp is for our smallest hitters.  Our goal is to provide a safe, exciting, and fun tennis environment for young children to begin enjoying the fantastic game of tennis while making lots of new friends.

Junior Champs Morning Lessons -  Ages 6-7  This camp is for beginning  players.  Junior Stars gives children a variety of exciting opportunities to develop their tennis skills and participate in an enjoyable tennis atmosphere. 

Young Champs Tennis~N~Fun Camp - Ages 6-9  This camp is for beginner and intermediate players.  Young Champs gives children a variety of exciting opportunities to develop their tennis skills and participate in an enjoyable tennis atmosphere. 

Challenger Champs Tennis Camp and Tennis Team - Ages 9-12  This camp is for advanced-beginner and intermediate level players. Challenger Champs gives children many exciting opportunities to further develop their tennis skills and increase their knowledge of the game. In addition, campers will have the opportunity to play matches with their teammates and other teams as well.

Advanced Champs Competition Camp - Ages 12-14  This camp is for intermediate and advanced level players.  Campers will practice technical skills,  play fun tennis games, compete in house tournaments, and participate in local league matches, and most importantly continue developing the fundamentals of tennis. Players will need to provide their own rides to all away league matches.

Advanced Junior Summer Opportunities

Tournament Training Camps - Ages 12-18  This camp is for advanced level juniors.  Players are encouraged to compete in both local and regional tournaments.  A greater emphasis will be placed on preparing for varsity tennis and gaining regional exposure at the junior USTA tournament level.

Teen Team Tennis League - Ages 12-18  

High School Training Camp - Ages 12-18  This camp is for Junior Varsity and Junior High level  players. Players will have the opportunity to improve their tennis skills and to gain confidence in match play situations.  Emphasis will be placed on singles and doubles strategy, as well as complete technical development.

Adult Summer Opportunities

Advanced 3.5-4.0 NTRP Drill ~n~ Play

Intermediate 2.5-3.5 NTRP Cardio Tennis Drills

Beginner 1.0-2.5 NTRP Intructional Lessons

Morning Senior Developmental Tennis Lessons

Adult & Junior Private Lessons

Private lessons are one on one instruction with a USPTA Certified Coach and semi-private lessons are 2, 3 or 4 students per instructor.  All private lessons will be scheduled at Brookview Tennis Center or another location if available.  To arrange for private lessons in advance, please call the Park and Recreation office @ 763-512-2300 or stop by the tennis shop to make an appointment.
